Seat model

Premium seats are student seats connected to a teacher's premium classroom tools. Teachers can use premium features with students covered by active seats, including AI-assisted review, stronger feedback, and premium workflow support.

  • Seats belong to the teacher subscription, not to an individual class.
  • Seats are consumed per student per premium-enabled class, even when the same student appears in more than one class.
  • When a student leaves a premium teacher's active classroom set, the seat returns in a few seconds when Native AI is off, stays in a correction window of up to five days when Native AI is on, and releases immediately for trusted roster sync.
  • Teachers can choose monthly or annual self-serve billing, while larger purchases can move through a custom quote path.
  • Free first: Instagrity stays free for class setup, rosters, assignments, grading, and released feedback. Premium is for AI-assisted grading, advanced feedback, coaching, analytics, and higher-powered teacher workflows.
